Promoting interest about
nautical activities
In the chapter of activities, a special feature was
the seminar about nautical charters, organised by
the Spanish Association of Nautical Companies
(ANEN), with the collaboration of the show.
According to the attendees, the exemption from
licensing taxes for the nautical charter has raised
high hopes in all the subsectors that form the
industrial and business fabric of recreational boats
in Spain, since it will bring competitiveness and
generate jobs.
In addition to the professional seminars,
the event also hosted a large program in order
to promote interest about nautical activities.
Once again, the Fun Beach Area hosted training
sessions where visitors could learn the basics
of yachting, kayaking, canoeing or paddle surfing.
There was also a night boat parade and a remotely
controlled sailboat regatta.
The event promoted the assistance of
personalities from different administrations, who
were able identify the concerns and needs of
the sector, like the Spanish Minister of Industry,
Energy and Tourism, José Manuel Soria, who
inaugurated the event, and the Minister of
Development, Ana Pastor.
