Barcelona Bridal Week, together with Pasarela
Gaudí Novias and the Noviaespaña International
Trade Fair, turned Barcelona again into the world
capital of bridal fashion.
Most of the leading companies for quality,
design and exports potential in the bridal,
ceremony, accessories and communion sector
chose, once more, the Noviaespaña event to
present their latest products.
The event was held at Pavilion 8 in the
Gran Via venue, and it hosted more than 200
brands, half of them international firms coming
from European countries such as Germany,
Belgium, France, Holland, England, Italy, Portugal,
Poland and Romania, and countries from other
continents, such as Lebanon, South Korea, Turkey,
Colombia, Mexico and Brazil, thus confirming
the relevance of the event and of Barcelona as a
leading European business centre.
Barcelona Bridal Week was visited by 16,000
professionals, 63% of which were foreigners,
thus establishing itself as a privileged space
where buyers from all over the world get to know
first-hand the latest trends in fabrics, colours and
designs of this textile sector.
Besides the commercial activity at the event,
Barcelona Bridal Week hosted Pasarela Gaudí
Novias, whose catwalks exhibited the creations
of designers Rosa Clará, Jesús Peiró, Victorio
& Lucchino, Yolan Cris, Inmaculada García,
Isabel Zapardiez, Raimon Bundó, Franc Sarabia,
Francis Montesinos, Manu Álvarez, Matilde
Cano, Jordi Dalmau, Hannibal Laguna, Patricia
Avendaño, Miquel Suay, Fuentecapala, Cabotine
by Gema Nicolás, Sonia Peña and Carla Ruiz.
Pronovias provided the perfect closing with an
exclusive catwalk at the Museu Nacional d’Art
de Catalunya (MNAC).
